Kheiron, s.r.o. opened its first veterinary practice in 2004. As a result of our expansion in 2017 we renamed our company KheironVet, s.r.o. and started offering our services from two clinics in Uvaly and Mukarov.

Our goal is to provide veterinary care "with hearts and minds", this means that our approach to our patients (animals) and clients (their owners) aims to provide service from a place of understanding. We are sensitive to your needs and receptive to your concerns. We use the latest technology and modern methods when treating patients.

Our equipment includes Stethoscope, Otoscope / Ophthalmoscope, Microscope, Refractometer, Laryngoscope, Sonographic Instrument, Doppler Sonography, Direct Digitization Xray, Biochemical and Hematological Analyzer, Glucometer, Urine Analyzer, Blood Pressure Monitor, Apparatus for Inhalation Anesthesia, Kryopen and others.

The inspiration for our name Kheiron is a figure from ancient Greek mythology. Kheiron was a centaur, half horse and half man, who was not only a wise physician and teacher but also an Achilla educator. Although his father was Cronos he was raised by Apollon. Apollon raised him as a doctor, herbalist, archer, hunter, gymnast and prophet. Kheiron was wise, thoughtful and patient. He discovered the healing power of plants and applied this knowledge in the treatment and prevention of illness in humans and animals.
